Introduction
Dibs is a launchpad on Pons where the creator fees of a coin go to an X or GitHub account instead of a wallet. Anyone can launch a coin and tag anyone. The tagged person doesn't need a wallet, doesn't need to know, and doesn't need ETH. When they sign in, the money is there.
- Chain
- Robinhood Chain
- Creator share
- 70% of 1% + tax
- To claim
- Sign in. No ETH needed.
The idea in one picture#
Every coin on Pons has a creator fee recipient. Dibs points that recipient at a vault whose address is derived from the tagged account's permanent id. The vault exists as an address before it exists as a contract, so fees can pile up in it from the first trade. Only the account's owner can ever open it.
Three steps#
- 1Launch and tagFill in the coin, tag an X or GitHub account, pick what it trades against (ETH or a tokenized stock like NVDA), and pay Pons's 0.0005 ETH launch fee. The launch is sent from your own wallet, so the coin is yours on Pons too.
- 2Fees flow to their vaultPons pays 70% of every 1% trade fee, plus any creator tax you set, to the coin's fee recipient. That recipient is the tagged account's vault.
- 3They sign in and claimThe tagged person signs in with X or GitHub, connects any wallet, and signs one message. Dibs submits the payout, which pays its own network fee out of the amount. Nobody else, including us, can move the money.
What Dibs is not#
- Not a custodian. Fees sit in Pons's escrow and in a per-account vault. Dibs has no key that can move them.
- Not a new token standard or a fork of Pons. Coins are ordinary Pons launches. They trade on Pons and graduate to Uniswap V4 like any other.
- Not fee-taking. Dibs charges nothing. Pons keeps its usual 30% of the trade fee and the launch fee.
