Privacy policy

Dibs routes on-chain creator fees to accounts on public platforms. To do that it needs very little about you, and it keeps even less. Last updated 6 September 2026.

What we collect

• When someone tags you. Your public username on the platform and, where the platform exposes one, your public account id. That is the same information anyone can see on your profile. It is stored so the fees can be attributed to you.
• When you sign in. The platform tells us your account id and username, nothing more: no email, no contacts, no posts, no ability to post as you. We ask each platform for the smallest permission it offers. For the bio-code sign-in we read your public profile text once, to find the code you pasted.
• When you claim. The wallet address you claim with, which is recorded on the blockchain by the payout itself. We also keep the signature you gave to prove the wallet is yours.
• When you launch a coin. Everything you type into the launch form is written to the public blockchain by your own transaction and shown on this site. Images you upload are pinned to IPFS, a public network.
• When the X bot acts on a post. The public post id, your public username and what happened, so the same post is never handled twice.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no tracking pixels, no selling or renting data.
• No private messages, emails, follower lists or content from any platform. We never receive them.
• No custody. Fees sit in smart contracts only the tagged account can open; we cannot move them.

Cookies

One session cookie keeps you signed in, and one short-lived cookie protects the sign-in flow against forgery. Your wallet connector may keep its own settings in your browser's local storage. Nothing here is used to track you across other sites.

Who else sees data

The site runs on Vercel; the database is hosted by Neon; images go to Pinata (IPFS); public-profile lookups for some platforms go through a profile-data provider; blockchain reads and writes go through public RPC endpoints; sign-in goes through the platform you choose. Each of them sees only what is needed for that step, under their own privacy terms. Everything written to Robinhood Chain or IPFS is public and permanent by design.

Retention and deletion

Account ids and usernames stay as long as a coin routes fees to them, because they are what the on-chain vault is derived from. Sign-in sessions expire on their own. To have a record removed from this site, or to ask what we hold, email hello@dibs.family. Data already on the blockchain or IPFS cannot be deleted by anyone.

Children

Dibs is not for people under 18 and we do not knowingly keep data about them.
